The Zentangle® Method is an “easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns”. Anyone who can hold a pen and write their name can do this. They will find they can do things they didn’t know they could do! We will explore the basics of this eight-step meditative creative practice and some of the benefits and life lessons if offers. Draw your first tile in this class, learning some foundational tangle patterns. From there, your Zentangle practice can grow in the ways that are most meaningful for you! Basic loaner supplies will be provided for the class time. Basic Zentangle drawing kits will be available for purchase. Diane Harpster is a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), completing the CZT Seminar with Zentangle founders Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas in November 2020. She has been creating Zentangle art since 2015 and loves sharing this practice with others as a way to experience calm, focus, and creativity – one mark at a time.
