This 90 minute class combines restorative yoga postures with the healing power of Reiki. Rest, restore and renew in this small and intimate class. We will kick off our time together with a 15 minute question and answer session about the history and intention behind the healing tradition of Reiki and the power of breath. This class is taught by Stephanie Watson MA, RYT 500, Reiki Master.

I was privileged to study with Stephanie as a mentor while I completed my 200 RYT under Susi Amendola. Stephanie’s kindness and integrity left a lasting impression. This is why I am thrilled to welcome her to present this experience.

Investment is $40/Venmo or cash or $42/credit or debit.

Stephanie (she, her, hers) has been teaching yoga since 2009 and practicing meditation and yoga since the mid 90’s. Stephanie has been with Omaha Integrative Care since day one and is currently their wellness director. As an experienced 500 hour level yoga teacher, Stephanie teaches everything from flow yoga to yin, restorative and beginners. She teaches private yoga to students who are working with special health and emotional concerns and often works with students healing from injury. DEEP RELAXATION INFUSED WITH SACRED SOUND

Settle Into Stillness unites the healing power of deep relaxation with sacred sound. Settle Into Stillness was founded by Jeremy Arndt and Nancy Grzeszak, who met in 2011 and began traveling around the world together, sharing their passions of yoga and music through their Sound Journey events. Settle Into Stillness combines different world music instrumentation such as the handpan and didgeridoo with elements of gong baths and crystal singing bowls, creating an offering that remains entirely unique amongst today’s mindfulness-based musical offerings.

Jeremy and Nancy are both dedicated yoga students and teachers, living in service of inspiring others to live from their hearts and follow their dreams. In addition to their Sound Journeys, they lead their Settle Into Stillness Retreats worldwide. Past retreats include Bali, Indonesia in 2016 and 2018, Lesvos, Greece in 2017 and 2022, and Morocco in 2019.

Jeremy Arndt with Settle Into Stillness-Conscious Relaxation Infused with Sound/Postponed

Yoga Nidra is the practice and art of Yogic Sleep. It is a simple, but profound, guided meditation accessible to anyone. The practice systematically guides the body, mind, and breath into a complete state of relaxation.

Quiet the mind and cultivate inner serenity as you rest in supported svasana (resting pose). Nancy’s voice will lead you through a guided relaxation where all senses are drawn to gentle, conscious awareness, inviting the body to heal, creativity to flourish, and the heart to expand.

While in this safe, sacred space Jeremy and Nancy create a soundscape of handspan, didgeridoo, crystal singing bowls, multiple gongs, chimes, and more. Each experience is created and offered with love and intention for healing and relaxation.

All are welcome. No prior experience with yoga or meditation is necessary. To learn more about Jeremy Arndt click here.

We have postponed this event until social distancing has lifted. Any payments will be applied to the future date. Once the future date is published, a refund will be issued if you are unable to make the new date. Thanks!
